Make it a Zigzag!
Just a few minutes ago, my good friend in Chile gave me a call. His name is Walter, and we spent around six weeks walking around in a city called Florencio Varela. We always had different viewpoints on things, and he still laughs at me for my crazy ways. One being the way we would get around town when we were late to an appointment. He would always want to take the big roads as we walked on foot toward our destination. I would want to go cross country, by walking in more of a Zigzag pattern. This would take us up one block, and then over one block etc., so we could cut corners and make better time. He was pretty bent on walking up seven blocks, then over seven blocks, which her argued would get us there in the same amount of time. It wasn’t really all that important, but it was something funny. Though it’s funny how it always came up when we were in a hurry. I think he finally did the math, and just a few minutes ago, he was telling me that he uses the “zigzag” method that I always used to rave about. He even spreads the word of the zigzag tactics now to those he walks with.
